i am very pleased to announce my IInd publication of the year, a poem called edgeland, which has been published at Abegail Morley’s The Poetry Shed. A  blog heaving with quality poets i am proud to be published alongside, in this, my publication infancy.

Abegail herself is a distinguished poet with countless publications & awards to her name &  certainly worthy of perusal.

If anyone reading is interested in publishing or featuring me on their blog or journal, please get in touch through my blog, danielpaulmarshall.wordpress.com or by email: danielpaulmarshall85@gmail.com.

Much obliged to anyone reading.

After living in Korea for shy a decade, I find myself back in England, penalized for my turned back, awaiting a move to Exeter, where I will study an MA in English, with focus on environmental studies. These days I am reading inveterately, owing to my no longer living without the means to buy books & books & books. My reading interest lie in contemporary philosophy, ecology, ecological philosophy, object orientated ontology & speculative realism. These ideas are leaching into my poetry & essays.

  1. Wonderful, Daniel. I can’t recall having encountered a simile quite as exacting as “abstruse enjambments.” Loved it. Saw it. Have lived it!

    1. thought you might like the likening of complex poetic modes to complex modes that water can take. that was surprisingly hard to say. thanks as always for your opinion. i don’t think i have a more distinguished reader than yourself.
